AUGUST TEA TIME ANTIDOTES FOR FUN

The ladies and I have lunch at one of my favorite place at La Salle. Gloria is usually late and we make a joke out of it each time she do " Hi Gloria" I said. She spoke to everyone as she usually do " Hi all sorry I am late."
" Gloria " did the dog hide your key? We laugh.
" Oh Jenny, your are a barrel of fish" She said.
" Didn't you mean a barrel of laugh?" Kathy stated.
We laughed even harder. We order lunch and told more jokes.
The waiter was a nice looking guy, and young. As cougars, we made him blush which made us laugh as he strolled off.
I always enjoy time with the girls, it's always fun time.

A brief history of elderberry . Elderberries are used for it's antioxidant, also it lower cholesterol, improves vision, boost the immune system, it;s also heart healthy and used for cough, colds, and flu. Elderberries were used to treat the flu in Panama in 1965. Elderberries are listed in the Handbook of Medicinal herbs in 1985, it was also listed in Mosbly's Nursing Drug reference for yeast infection, colds, flu, and chest congestion. Elderberries contains organic pigments, tannin, amino acid, carotids, flavoniods, sugar, nutin, vitumic acid, vitamins A, B and C. This herb makes a great our drink that's good heart healthy.

How to Make---Things you need

4 oz mason jar

2 oz or more of elderberry ( dried or fresh )

80 proof vodka....2oz

1 Lemon

Pour your elderberries in your mason jar, use 4 oz of the 80 proof vodka, and use one drop of the lemon. Shake

well then store in a cool place for 4 or 6 weeks.

After 4 or 6 weeks, strain the elderberry off and put it into another jar or bottle, refrigerate until ready to drink.

Always chill your martini glass and when ready pour

your elderberry martini.
