HERBS FOR PETS

It;s good to keep in mind that dogs and cats are small therefore have a small digestive system.
They can have a harder time digesting herbs than humans.  You will also need to be crafted and careful with dosages when administering herbs to your pet.  Dosage should be given to the weight
of the animal.  It is usually best o give several dosage during the day than one large dose,  this will help boost the immune system.  Herbs should not be given continuously,  a good rule of thumb is two weeks on and one week off.  A few herbs that you can give your pets are alfalfa, aloe, anise, fennel, catnip, lavender, and valerian.   Lets do the right thing and keep our pet safe,  if you are unsure about pets and herbs contact a Herbalist, and veterinarian.
