LEARNING ABOUT SLEEP APNEA

Sleep apnea is a serious sleep disorder that occur when a person's breathing is interrupted.   People that are not treated stop breathing during the sleep, it could occur at least a hundred times during
sleep.  This mean that the rest of the body is not getting enough oxygen.  We are dealing with two types of this disorder,  one type is more serious, and it also come in different level.   ( OSA ) Obstructive sleep apnea is caused by blockage   of airway usually when the soft tissue in the back of the throat collapses during sleep.  (CSA ) Central sleep apnea,  the airway is not blocked but the brain  fails to signal the muscle to breather due to instability in the respiratory control  center.  This disease can affect any age, even children.  The risk factors are overweight, over forty,  having  a large neck, large tonsil, or tongue, or small jaw bone,  having a history of sleep apnea  or gastric
